If you hadn’t noticed, there is a paperback book display in Bremer’s Market. These are books the library has duplicates of or are books that have been donated that we already had. Bremer’s Market is kind enough to provide space for these books and they are yours for a donation to the library. There are a lot of good books included so help yourself. Any donations go toward the purchase of new books for the library. Thanks to Bremer’s Market for allowing us to have those books available for you.

We’ve received several monetary donations lately. Linda Bergenheier gave a donation in honor of Barb Beckstrand’s 80th Birthday. Memorials received include in memory of Sister Margaret Rose from Kayla Rusten, in memory of Aric Bomber and Jim Foss from Jennifer Braaten, in memory of Nels Peterson from Jennifer Braaten and Pam  Walcker and in memory of Pat Watson, Alta Palmer and Nancy Sleight from the Underwoods. We do appreciate all who remember the library with their memorial donations. We use them for purchasing new books.
Nora and Cole Braaten donated a child’s table to be used in the children’s room. Bring your little ones because now they have something their own size where they can sit and look through books. Thank you to Nora and Cole for this.

New Hard cover/large print books are:

Some of you probably have read the author Brian Freeman but I just discovered him and what a discovery it is! He writes detective stories mostly based in Duluth. So, we read about Grandma’s, the lift bridge, Canal Park and ore ships going through the canal. Anyway, Pam Walcker has donated her collection of Brian Freeman books and they’re in large print! Start with the first book, Immoral, and get introduced to the characters and follow them through the next books. I promise you’ll enjoy each book.
