Do you have 90 minutes every 6 weeks to spare??? We are looking for librarians to work a Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00. The schedule is very flexible and we would really appreciate your help. All ages can handle this!  Let someone know, either on facebook, at our website FinleyPL.org or contact a board member, Carolyn Paulsen, Jennifer Braaten, Kelsey Christian, Pam Walcker, Christine Paulsen or Starr Braaten.

We have received some new books for your reading pleasure!

The Black Widow by Daniel Silva (HC/LP). Israeli art restorer and spy Gabriel Alton turns a civilian into a spy to infiltrate ISIS. Fascinating, suspenseful and exciting!

The Games. A Private Novel by James Patterson (HC/LP) Jack Morgan
, head of the renowned international security and consulting firm Private are to ensure the Olympic games in Rio go off without a hitch. Will it happen?

Sale to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys (HC/LP).  Historical fiction inspired by the real-life tragedy that was the sinking of the Wilhelm Gustoff, the greatest maritime disaster in history.  It’s classified teen fiction but will appeal to all ages.

Some new (to us) paperbacks include:

Pegasus by Danielle Steel. A historical novel of family and World War II. The story involves the renowned white Lipizzaner horses.

Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz. A dying grandfather predicts 5 dark days in the life of his grandson. Reviews say this is a tale filled with enough twists, turns, shocks and surprises for 10 ordinary novels!

And fans of Lisa Gardner should come in to get Live to Tell, lives of 3 women and their secrets, and, The Third Victim. It will get under your skin and haunt you!
