Here's six more of newly arrived books to your Finley Library.  We will have several more updates in the following weeks.  Please come in and check them out. 

The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly.  Mickey Haller is a Lincoln lawyer, a criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Towncar, traveling between the far-flung courthouses of L.A. County, CA, to defend his clients--often with surprising results.  (regular print)

Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich.  #17 in the Stephanie Plum series.  Dead bodies are showing up in shallow graves on the empty construction site of the new Vincent Plum Bail Bonds where Stephanie Plum works.  No one has a clue as to why it is happening, but you can bet that Stephanie and all the other zany characters in this series will be in the midst of finding out.  (large print)

The Bone Vault by Linda Fairstein.  A controversial new exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Temple of Dendur is being opposed by many on and off the staff.  But that is nothing compared to the furor when the dead body of a museum employee arrives in an Egyptian sarcophagus!  (large print)

Puppet by Joy Fielding.   Estranged from her mother, her home town of Toronto, and her past, Amanda Travis lives is living a glamorous life in Palm Beach, FL, until her mother allegedly kills a complete stranger.  Suddenly Toronto, her mother and her past have become her future!  (large print)

Night Road by Kristin Hannah.  Senior year should be a perfect one for twins Mia and Zach, but when a new neighbor, Lexi, befriends Mia and becomes Zach's lover, a mother's worst nightmare ensues.  Motherhood, identity, love, and forgiveness all come into question and the answers are not easy.  (large print)

One L by Scott Turow.  Author/lawyer Turow recounts his first year of law school at Harvard--the sacrifices, depression, ethics and morals--and his opinion of it all.  To be a good lawyer or teacher of law and keep your own standards and morals is not an easy job.  (non-fiction) (paperback)
